Aaron’s past legal experience includes serving as General Counsel of Gazelle Link, LLC., a small telecommunications company headquartered in Cedar Rapids that focuses on rural telecommunications solution. In this position, Aaron handled and supervised all of the corporation's legal affairs, where he addressed issues relating to contracts, compliance, disputes, employment, intellectual property, corporate governance, and marketing. Additionally, Aaron worked as an attorney and lobbyist with Querrey & Harrow, Ltd., a mid-size Chicago law firm, as a prosecutor in Johnson County, IA, and as a student judicial officer for The University of Iowa.

The Rev. Aaron McLeod, Esq. serves as the Executive Director of Special Projects at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, Illinois where The Reverend Otis Moss, III is the Senior Pastor. He is the Contract Pastor of St. Stephens Lutheran Church on the Southside of Chicago. Aaron is a licensed and ordained clergyman in the Baptist church with standing in the United Church of Christ.
